ORDER FAQ / TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IS MY TRANSACTION SECURE?
All items available for direct internet purchase will be processed through our shopping cart on our secure server, protecting all your credit information. Once a purchase has been consummated an invoice will be generated describing the goods purchased, all costs, and a tracking number assigned to the order. This invoice will be sent to your designated email address.

If any questions arise regarding items on the site, or if you are interested in any of the thousands of items we carry in our stores that are not posted on this website, please inquire. We at Bagshop.com pride ourselves on the personal service so frequently lacking at many on-line stores. Chances are we have or can obtain it for you expediently and at the right price.

All personal information is for our own use, to help us better service our customers. Bagshop.com does not release any customer information to any other party.

Contact us by form or call us at 914-238-2300 (for all merchandise) or 203-863-0045 (for leather goods and bags). Your calls are taken by real sales people located at our boutiques at Petticoat Lane in Chappaqua, New York or Greenwich, Connecticut.

E-Mail Lists:
Anyone may subscribe to our mailing list by either submitting an entry for our free give-away, purchasing an item, or requesting subscription via email. Bagshop.com will occasionally send e-mail to our customers to inform them of sales, special offers or other relevant news concerning our website. We do not send unsolicited "spam" mail to anyone on our customer list. Anyone may unsubscribe to this list by e-mailing us with the subject header "unsubscribe."

ORDER STATUS:
Order status may be checked by Contacting Us or calling us at 914-238-2300. Please include your shopping cart generated invoice tracking number.

CANCELING AN ORDER:
We cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped. Back orders may be cancelled by Contacting Us or calling us at 914-238-2300.

ORDERS POLICY:
The confirmation of an order by e-mail or any other type of electronic confirmation does not constitute Bagshop.com's acceptance of the order. Bagshop.com has the right to refuse shipment without any prior notification.

Shipping
Bagshop.com ships via UPS and USPS. Actual shipping charges may be adjusted due to weight and dimension of some items shipped. We will email you in such a case. Shipping and deliveries are made in accordance with the standard rules and regulations of these respective shippers. You can choose "one day," "two day" or "ground" for all continental United States addresses. In addition, you may choose either of our two carriers by noting such in the "Comments" section of the Order Form. Arrival time for standard ground shipments is dependent on the distance of the package destination.

We Ship Worldwide. International shipping charges by our carriers are by weight. Should the weight of your shipment cause the charges to be in excess of the standard rate, we will contact you by email for your permission to ship. If the Free Shipping option is chosen on international orders, international shipping rates will be added.

Bagshop.com does not deliver on Saturday, Sunday or national U.S. holidays. Bagshop.com ships throughout the United States, Canada, the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and certain other countries. A few shipping cost examples; Canada is $15, except for large or heavy packages, Europe is $68 also except for large and heavy, Asia and Australia, and New Zealand is $78, except for large and heavy packages. Bagshop.com does not deliver to post office boxes except in the case of shipments to military bases.

Return Policy
Returns are very easy! If you want to return your purchase simply send it back to the address on your receipt. This includes all items that had free shipping.
  • Please include all your info for fast refund or exchange.
  • Items must be returned within 20 days from date on receipt. Make sure all original tags are on the merchandise. Hosiery that has been removed from the packaging cannot be returned. We will process your return within 7 days. We cannot pay for return shipping or original shipping costs. We don't accept returns on any special order sizes
    (larger than 38 or larger than DD).
  • All items have a 20 days return money back policy from date on receipt, except for items that are 30% or more on sale it is 10 days, and 50% or more are final sale.
  • Any item that has been used is not returnable, in the case of breakage we repair the item, we do not refund.
  • We deduct for shipping charges on all returns.
  • You can also call us directly for any questions 800-913 3911 ( Mon- Fri 10-6 ) to speak to a real person!!
  • Handbags and other products costing over $1000 must be returned within 5 days with original tags on merchandise.
  • All Handbags over $2000 is considered a special order and is not returnable ( we do guarantee to repair or replace any defects ).

Incorrect Price
If for any reason the price of an item is listed incorrectly, Bagshop.com has the right to refuse the order. If the order has been charged to a credit card, that amount will be refunded to the customer.

Payment
Bagshop.com accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Please submit the correct billing address for the credit card to help us prevent fraud. If an incorrect billing address is submitted we will refuse shipment. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of shipment. Bagshop.com also accepts money orders, but no personal checks.

Sales Tax
There is a 6% sales tax charge for any order delivered within Connecticut. A 6.75% sales tax charge exists for certain items delivered within New York. The New York sales tax charge fluctuates depending on state, county and City of New York sales tax holidays and promotions and depends on product, geography and price.
