Eric Javits designed the Champ visor to give maximum sun protection across the face and neck, and it packs flat for travel.

A visor shades where you burn first while leaving the crown open, so your head stays cooler than it would under a full hat. That makes it the choice in real heat, and on a golf course or a boat where a wide brim catches the wind.

It has an adjustable Velcro closure at the back so it fits most heads, and an inner terry forehead pad that detaches for washing, which is the part that actually gets used. The brim span is 3.5 inches, and Eric Javits states it blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays.
